BECCA G ANDERSON

Actor, Artist, Math Enthusiast

Becca (they/them) is a Black, queer artist based in Cincinnati, OH. ​They will soon graduate from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a BFA in Acting.

​

Becca is devoted to creating and amplifying work by marginalized voices. They have extensive training in voiceover, stage combat, movement, and Shakespeare, and they are prepared to tell these stories in as many unique ways as possible.

What became of Emilia Bassano, poet and contemporary of William Shakespeare? Was she his “Dark Lady” of the sonnets? What does it mean to be reduced to a footnote in a man’s story? Hilarious and heart-breaking, Emilia features a female and gender non-conforming cast portraying multiple Elizabethan characters.
